I got my yule boots on right now.... or is it snow boots?

when ever you do something new someplace along the line you will be stested. This is the test for lions road. Our web host will be going out of biz at the start of the new year and we at lions road will have to decide what the heck we are going to do from here.

we can move to another host and hope it all works out there. we can go to live shows, we can go to video. Hard to say what is the best rout. I will be working the problem on tuesday.

by the bearded oath pig I say we start the Lions Road Yule Boot what a new standard for the fun. Next year for Christmas we will have the Yule Boot show. I still don't know what it means but the term Yule Boot is too good to pass up

Simple vs Simplistic

although I have a big heard for projects like this. I think you have to have attempts like this to move the industry down the road to what I would like to call the big project. I cannot overlook the Simple vs Simplistic battle going on here.

There are moments when things seem to work but there seems to be no context to limit anyone powers. The magic/mystic people will just be a plot device to move the story or solve the problem when needed.

Worse to me is that there is no sense of a great struggle the main character is on. No map of the world and we are here and have to get there. No building up friends and getting ready for the war against Evil.

Ok I have said enough.

yes it's time for a little Tuesday work on the lions road everything Web page, emails and everything. I have just given up my Tuesday off to the lionsroad. There never seems to be an end to what we have going on. I have so much to do that I work from 6 in the morning until we post the recording at ten pm. all day on the lions road...why? because I love it!!!

well now that the glitches are fixed are membership has grown and grown and again november will be larger then ever
weee. We are having so much fun

well more days off means more work on the web page and all the fun that is the lions road. I'm trying to put together a mission statement sort of thing. I think a lot of people out in SCA world are unsure about who and what we are. THis is not my sort of thing so we will see how it goes. I may post the mission statement on the forum to get some feedback. Check back today and we will see what we have.

podango seems to have everything worked out so our show is posting on time.

Putting order to a web page in chaos.

Ok ok the web page is getting crazy. I have four days off to work on it...when I say work on it I will wait for the last minute and try to do something on day four.

but my heart is in the right place.

Now matter what you try to do. You will have grousers out there. We at Lions Road have ours. I really don't care about the complaining and those that don't see our vision.. hey I think I need to add a mission statement to our web page. That would be great!

Im uploading all the old episodes so people can hear the older shows.

November on track to be best subscriber month ever. Since our second month in may we have grown 10 times.

Wow October was good but November is going to be even better. get back! WE are on track to almost double our subscribers.

Well after watching MadMen I have become far more observant of the type of adds I'm looking at. It seems to me that medievalish adds are in the rise. I just saw one today for Free Credit Report.com at a red fair. Has to be something to medieval images if it is being used as a selling tool.

I will try to get the new show introduction done today. That is job 4 on my magic list of things to do.

If anyone want's to know the hardest thing about doing a weekly podcast is making time. So much to do and so little time but I'm on it today all day. It's Lions Road day here at the "Not nearly sound Proof Studios" Yo Digity.

So sit back and lets all hope it doesn't take 6 days to upload the next show.

ya I uploaded the right file but in fixing their problem Podango published three version of one podcast. Well there goes the stats for the month. I will go through as soon as I can and clean it up.

well I have emailed podango and I'm calling them at 9 am to see if we can work something out. I really want to stay with them but of the 27 podcast we have done 8 have been delayed and that just can't work. I will get something out there today

with podango glitch its taken almost a week to make our last show available on I tunes and they can't tell me why. I pissed and I'm not looking for options. Hell I will pay if it means some stability for the show. Let you know in the next day or so.

yup they are good. im trying to figure out a podango issue right now that is preventing out last episode from being available on I tunes. soon as I get that worked out all will be well.

life has a way of jumping up and getting in the way of all those things you think are important.

This week I had an emergency with my daughter and I fear the podcast suffered for it. Oh well onward and upward I think.

Not every podcast can be podcast gold but we are slugging away.

The podcast is updated on the web page but I fear it will take and extra day to get the feed over to Itunes because of the time we posted. We usually record on tuesday night but I was dealing with my runaway daughter then and so we did it last night the following day.
